The IslandTime Marine WiFi System will be the core of your onboard network. The Client isolates your network from
the onshore access point. The Client can run straight off of the boats 12 volt system. No DC/DC or AC/DC converters
are needed.
Mount the water resistant case anywhere onboard and run a single CAT5 network cable
from the Client Bridge to the POE and then to either your onboard AP or your computer.
IslandTime Marine WiFi System
The IslandTime WiFi Client is housed in a 7" x 8" x 2.5" (w x d x h) die cast aluminum case that has a
NEMA 6 rating.
The case can be pole mounted on poles with up to 2" OD or mounted on
any flat surface using the mounting tabs.
The Client takes 9-18 volts DC to operate and uses about 3 watts making
it suitable for operation directly from the ships DC power system. A single CAT5 cable carries both the digital signal and
input power to the Bridge (POE). This cable can up to 120' in length.
The user can easily adjust the Clients
transmit power to a maximum of 400 mw. The Client operates on IEEE 802.11b & IEEE 802.11g. The receive sensitivity
is very high.

or access point and a complete wireless system for use with multiple wireless enabled computers.

The basic system allows you to upgrade your existing system using an existing antenna or other equipment already onboard.

case with an N-female antenna jack and a water resistant CAT5 jack. Suitable for surface or pole mount. 1 - Passive
POE injector (Power Over the Ethernet)
1 - 25 foot outdoor Cat5e cable for running Power+Data
from the POE injector to the Bridge. Additional footage $0.30/foot 1 - 8 foot Cat5e data cable used between the
POE injector and your computer or router 1 - 6 foot pigtail for connecting 12 vdc to the POE injector

This system allows
all wireless equipped computers onboard to access the internet or each other at the same time. Everything is configured and
ready to use when you plug in the 2 Cat5e cables and apply power to the POE injector and the AP.
